Game It Or Flip It?: Goodwill Wii, Part 1

Hello all you blog readers! MvM is here, and finally back to blogging! And today's post is part of the geekier side of 'MvM's World' ;).

So this installment of G.I.F.I (I like to pronounce that as jiffy lol), is going to take a look at my newest little project: Fixing up a Wii I purchased at a local Goodwill, with the hopes of re-selling it (Flip It!) for a profit. For part 1, I'm just going to focus on what was purchased, for how much, and its current condition.

MvM's Music Bit's! - 11/11/14

Every once in awhile, I may come across a song that I really like, and may feel like sharing. Today is one of those days. :)

Today ushered in the release of a new Queen album. Yes, Queen. Ok though to be fair, the album only has 3 new songs on it, and the rest are remasters. But for any Queen fan like myself, getting to hear something new from the late great master, Freddie Mercury, is a real treat!  This time though, Freddie brought a friend along......

Enter, Michael Jackson.

Don't Worry, I'm Still Here...... ;)

I started this blog in the hopes that I would post more often. Gasp.....maybe even daily. But as it always happens, real life takes it's toll on me, and keeps me very busy. Rest assured my friends and followers, I haven't forgotten about the blog. I have much to say and much to write. I just haven't had a lot of time as of late.

In the last 2 weeks, I have faced real world issues. Serious ones. I was almost evicted from my home, I am about to have a major job change, my dad was in the hospital again (home safe and sound now), I haven't seen my son in two weeks, and bits and pieces of my depression have taken it's ugly ass toll on me. But ya know what? MvM is still kicking!

Who Could Handle 2 Of Me? Lol......

I just wanted to post this small and quick post for the sheer purpose of letting those that really love and care about me know, that I haven't disappeared. I am still here. I am going to post more soon. Hell, you may even get sick of me writing so much! (Yeah right lol)......

I'm Back!

I have many idea's for a blog post. So many things I want to say. So many things I want to talk about. It's been a few years since I really sat down and took writing blog posts seriously, and I felt now was the time to finally get back into the swing of things. However, before I start posting everything I want to talk about, I feel it right to introduce myself to those who aren't old school and long term fans (you know who ya'll are lol), and are new to the world of MvM.

My name is Robert, but from here on out, call me MvM. It has been my Internet handle and name for 15 years now. I love all things geeky and nerdy, I am an amateur video and music producer, web designer, and registered comic strip artist. I love music, comic books and video games. I have a passion for life, fun, and everyone around me. And since this is sounding like the start of a damn dating profile, I will stop there lol.

Seriously though, I am glad to be back and have a more detailed web presence. The layout of the blog so far is a work in progress, and will become more colorful and better as time moves on. I will be writing about things that I love, matter to me, or just based on whatever mood I am in. And that's where you will all get to know me better. ;)
