Gamer42 #2 - Doing The Ol' Vita Swap

Been meaning to write this for a week now, but I have been so busy lately! About a week ago, a friend of mine happened to see that one of my local Walmart stores was clearing out their stock of Vita memory cards. The nice thing about the Vita (while still a pain in the ass), is the ability to have multiple memory cards with different games on each, tied to your one single PSN account. You just have to keep swapping them out. This would not be necessary if I had the funds to import an expensive 64GB card from Japan, but who has the money for that? But what I did have money for, was the 3 remaining 4GB cards on clearance at Walmart for $2 each!

This now brings my Vita memory card collection to a total of Four 4GB cards and my original 8GB card. Basically 24GB altogether. Still not a ton, and again I have to swap cards. But it was certainly a deal I couldn't pass up!

Most stores now either carry nothing for the Vita, or very little. Sad really that it is being phased out, as I still LOVE this gaming device! It really is a solid handheld, and there are so many great games for it!

Speaking of which, I want to eventually import some games from Japan/Asia. Maybe I'll start with this:

Yeah, because why not? LOL

Well, as long as my wife doesn't mind that is lol......

Game On!

  2. Great find! Those should definitely come in handy. :)

I've thought about getting the 64GB card as well, but I think I'm fine with what I've got.
